Infidelity Expert Warns Women about the 3 Types of Men Who Typically Have Summer Affairs
New York, NY 10019 June 18 2008

During the summer months, infidelity and extramarital affairs are at an all time high.

According to one infidelity expert, that’s because some men only cheat on their wives and girlfriends during the summer months, when they can easily camouflage their summer affairs.

New York infidelity expert Ruth Houston wants women to know how to identify these men so they can safeguard their marriages and relationships from the danger of summer infidelity.

As part of her 4th annual Summer Infidelity Awareness Campaign, Houston is issuing a warning to women everywhere about the 3 kinds of cheating men who typically have summer affairs.

Houston, the founder of www.InfidelityAdvice.com and the author of Is He Cheating on You – 829 Telltale Signs, says, “ It’s important for women to be able to identify the type of man who is prone to summer infidelity. Especially since these are men who, at other times of the year, would never even think of having an affair. “

3 Types of Summer Cheats

Below, infidelity expert Ruth Houston, who is frequently called on by the media to comment on infidelity issues in the news, describes the 3 types of men who tend to have summer affairs.

• The recreational cheater who considers infidelity a summer sport.

• The seasonal cheater who treats himself to a summer fling while his wife or girlfriend is away on vacation.

• The opportunistic cheater who only cheats when an opportunity presents itself for him to do so without getting caught.

Says Houston, “All three types of cheating men, (and the types may overlap) consider summer the ideal time to have a fling or short-term extramarital affair. In order to avoid become victims of summer infidelity, women need to know how to spot the signs of a summer affair, and how to short-circuit a summer fling or prevent one from taking place.”

The Danger of Summer Infidelity

“Many women treat summer flings lightly,” says Houston. “But underestimating the danger of a summer affair could turn out to be a fatal mistake. In theory, a summer fling should only last for a single season. The assumption is that when summer is over, they’ll fade away or die a natural death. But the sad reality is that many summer flings go on to become long-term affairs.”

Houston, who in addition to researching and writing about infidelity also does personal infidelity consultations, says “Every fall I get double my usual number of requests for infidelity consultations. Most of these requests come from women whose husbands or boyfriends had summer flings and are unwilling to end these affairs. My heart goes out to them because the situation could have been avoided if they’d known how to spot the signs of summer infidelity, or if they’d known what preventive measures to take.”

FREE Summer Infidelity Tip Sheet

To help keep unsuspecting wives and girlfriends from finding themselves in this situation, Houston has compiled a Summer Infidelity Tip Sheet tells how to prevent or short -circuit your spouse’s or significant other’s summer affair. The Summer Infidelity Tip Sheet also tells how to spot the signs of summer infidelity.
